Our Facilities
We are now taking orders for Christmas Goats

We have just finished construction of a brand new barn for our goats, which is 72X120 feet.   This barn is state of the art.   A bright insulated barn with chimney vents and side wall curtains has been shown to reduce disease problems for the livestock.

We have developed a feeder that is very "goat friendly"  and have had them custom made  by Nithwood Dairy for our barn.  The goats always have ample hay and fresh water available to them.

We have learned over the years, that fencing is a challenge for containing goats.  They are sneaky little animals, and seem to be able to shrink themselves into extremely small sizes to fit through holes or gaps.  What we have found to be the safest and most effective is a combination electric fence, (3 wires) surrounded by a page wire fence. The electric shock will deter the majority of the goats and keep them from pushing/leaning/scratching on the page wire fence.

The page wire also acts as a deterrent to predators.  We also have llamas with the goats.  These very low maintenance animals have herding and protective instincts that are truly remarkable.  They take care of their herd, and are always on the lookout for potential danger.
